One of the high points of the Academy’s calendar is the Awesome Auction to be held on Friday, April 13.   The times are 6:30pm to 8:00pm in the Trinity Gym. Proceeds will benefit the Fine Arts Program of Trinity Christian Academy. 

The Auction has been expanded to appeal to all ages, interests and pocketbooks.  For the little ones, there will be a Bounce House and everyone will enjoy musical performances by the school band. 

The Live Auction will features items such as tires, hotel stays, vintage collectible posters and tuition vouchers. 

The Silent Auction is a process where many items can be sold simultaneously by means of a sheet of paper at each item.  Bidders write their name and bid amount on the item they desire and the high bid at the end of the designated times wins, and it is paid for at that time.  Bidders can continue increasing their bids on the sheets provided until the auction is called.  Some of the items included in the Silent Auction are restaurant certificates, jewelry, golf packages, lawn tools, Pampered Chef products, Southern Living items for the home and a cake walk.  A popular category is many different gift baskets created by Academy classes:  Gardening baskets, a New Home basket, Tool Assortment, among many others.  Remember, the high amount on that sheet of bid paper takes it home. 

There is a barbeque dinner from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, for $6.50, however admission to the Auction is free.  There will be door prizes given out during the evening, and if you wear red, white and blue, you will receive extra opportunities to win door prizes.  Come join us for a fun evening.
