Trinity Grad Elected VP of Jax City Council

Daniel Davis, a TCA grad, deacon and Bible Fellowship teacher at Trinity Baptist Church has been elected Vice President of the City Council.  A graduate of Trinity Christian Academy, Daniel began as a resident of Jacksonville when his family moved here from Wisconsin .  After graduation from high school, Daniel attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College, where he graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts.  Daniel entered the political arena in 2003 when he was elected as city council representative for District 12.  Since that time, Daniel has been active in volunteering with the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) where he is also Associate Director, being a Vice President at the Westside Civic Association, being on the board for Emergency Pregnancy Services, and serving in several committees trying to better the city of Jacksonville. Daniel was honored in 2005 when the Jacksonville City Council gave him their most prestigious internal honor, the Charles D. Webb Award, for his outstanding work within the City Council itself. He and his wife Rebecca have three children, Alivia, Caroline, and Christian.
