Currently Available:
Trinity Christian Academy -
Upper Division
Teacher (full time)
Must
have Bachelors degree in secondary education from an accredited
institution which includes at minimum 6 credit hours of
methodology, student teaching, a 24 credit hour major field
proficiency and an 18 credit hour minor field proficiency.
Masters degree preferred. Must be certifiable through the Florida
Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS). Must be
able to give a clear testimony of salvation through the Lord Jesus
Christ and a presentation of one’s calling into Christian
Education. Trinity Baptist Church membership is a requirement for
employment as well as documentation of spiritual maturity,
academic leadership, and Biblical character.
Basic Responsibilities:
Teach six regularly scheduled class periods per day in major
and/or minor field proficiency areas for the grades 7 – 12. Become
well versed in the educational, spiritual, and social development
of students. Employ instructional aids, methods and materials as
befitting enthusiastic, creative, professional teaching.
Participate in annual professional development. Be responsible for
any other tasks designated on the contract or assigned by the
supervising principal. Present professional interaction with
students, parents, faculty, staff, and the educational community.
Proficiencies Sought:
Academic areas being sought in total or in part as major or minor
field teachers for the 2008-09 school year are English, Spanish
(immersion teacher junior high and upper elementary), Mathematics,
and Science. Athletic training and experience in the major team
sports is valuable whereas many of the faculty assist in coaching
junior high, junior varsity, or varsity sports
Reports to Upper Division Principal – Mr. Dan Worley
Lower Division Teacher (full time)
Must have a Bachelors degree in elementary education from an

Four grade specific teachers being sought for the 2008-09 school
year within the primary and upper elementary grades. One Spanish
cultural immersion teacher is sought to work in the upper
elementary and lower Junior high.
Reports to Lower Division Principal – Dr. Mike Belk
Attendance
Clerk
The attendance clerk will maintain student attendance records for
grades 7-12. Prepare attendance reports, compile announcements
and early dismissals for the daily bulletin. Perform basic
clerical work such as receptionist, typing, filing, answering
phones, and recordkeeping. Complete other data entry projects as
assigned by the principal.
Trinity Baptist Church -
Director of Development (full
time)
This position will direct programs which will enhance and
promote the future growth and development of Trinity Ministries.
These programs will increase awareness, present a positive image,
and solicit support from the Christian community and the community
at large.
Church Custodian (part time)
Responsible for campus conversion and general housekeeping duties;
including moving furniture, set-up and take-down for a wide
variety of campus activities. Must be able to individually lift
and move heavy furniture/equipment. Ability to clean windows and
doors, mop and vacuum floors, and empty garbage containers. Work
with cleaning materials, disinfectants, and equipment used in
custodial work. Must be observant, flexible, and self-motivated.
Hours may vary to include evenings and/or weekends.
Groundskeeper
Performs skilled landscaping and manual work necessary to maintain
campus grounds. Applicant must have grounds related experience.
Must demonstrate a good attitude, a good work ethic and an ability
to strive in a team environment as well as the ability to work
independently. Must be physically capable to perform strenuous
labor.
Irrigation Technician
Performs skilled trade work in the systematic repair, maintenance,
replacement and/or redesign of the campus irrigation system.
Applicant must have prior irrigation experience. Must demonstrate
a good attitude, a good work ethic and an ability to strive in a
team environment as well as the ability to work independently.
Must be physically capable to perform strenuous labor.
Trinity Rescue Mission -
Special Events Director (full
time)
Plans and Coordinates the special events of Trinity Rescue
Mission. Responsible for scheduling related activities and
facilities. Prepare and maintains all required documentation and
reports.
Trinity Baptist College -
Administrative Assistant (full
time)
The principal function will
be to offer administrative support to Dr. Lindstam's office
serving both the college and academy.
This employee will manage a number
of projects, support administrative committees, maintain and
revise accreditation manuals, handbooks, and self-study
activities. The position will maintain timelines, key indicators,
compliance documents and reports. Also, develop and manage a
database for FACCS Fine Arts, manage class records and curriculum
for undergraduate and graduate programs. The assistant must have
at minimum, an associate's degree and two year's experience in
office administration, also must be trained in the following
programs: Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access,
and Microsoft Excel.
Student Library Assistant (part
time)
Responsible for running the circulation desk, providing
reference assistance to students, materials check-in and shelving,
and other administrative tasks as assigned by the library
director. Hours are seven hours per week, scheduled to be
determined. TBC upperclassman or woman preferred.
