Thursday, November 9th, was Trinity
Christian Academy's annual Grandparents Day. The Lower
Division had been preparing for this day for several
weeks. The classes had practiced different songs and
academic exercises to demonstrate all that they were
learning in school. At about 9 a.m., grandparents began
showing up and the classes began their demonstrations.
This day is always fun for the kids and the grandparents
love to see their grandchildren. Some classes had special
crafts and refreshments prepared especially for their
guests. After the day had ended Dr. Clay Lindstam, Academy
Administrator,
remarked, "Grandparents Day seemed to be a great success .
. . we had as many as 45 parents in some classrooms!"
Also, Teresa Haney, Kindergarten Principal, said, "We had
over 500 grandparents in the Kindergarten alone." The
day was enjoyed by all of the teachers, students, and
grandparents.
